Description:
This is a two story brick art deco power plant. The art deco style comes from the pilaster like projections which divide the front facade and emphasize the vertical. The buff brick gives a smooth finish to the facade, which is another art deco detail.
This power plant, built in 1936, is still used today to supplement Cushing’s power needs during peak usage times.
