Description

This is a one story red brick building that is unique not only because it was the segregated school, in a township in 1930s was majority Native-American population, but it initially had large windows and a distinct architectural entrance. Above the windows of the facade are architectural ornaments of portraits depicting Abraham Lincoln on the right and Franklin Roosevelt on the left. Also has lettering of Lincoln School and the date of 1937.

On the left side of the building is the cornerstone that has the letting:

Most of the ditch work on the south side of the school are WPA as well.
